TEEN VIDEO CHALLENGE!!!

Do you enjoy making home videos?? Have some friends who might enjoy doing this as a team?? Then this challenge is for you!

The Young Adult Librarians of New Hampshire have announced the theme to be "Beneath the Surface" for this year's public service announcement made by YOU.
                                                                                              
The top prize is $275 and the winning video from each state will promote summer reading throughout the United States. Cool, huh?

You must be a resident of New Hampshire and between 13-18 years of age to enter. Be sure to submit your video before February 4th, 2013!!!

If your teen has received a Water Country pass, a couple of things to note:  the park is open thru Sept. 3, hours are 10:30-6:30 until Aug. 20th, when the park will begin closing at 5:30.  

If you plan on purchasing additional tickets, you may want to do so on-line as they

 are considerably less expensive.

Teen Book Discussion Group Tonight! August 1, 2012

 Join us tonight, August 1st,  from 6:30-7:30 for snacks and a chat about what you've been reading/listening to this summer...what you liked, what you didn't...books don't have to be from the library!  Bring your Kindle, Nook, iPod or other device and share how that technology works for you! 

Everyone who attends gets to select a free book to take home!
