Teen Book Group

For teens who read.

The Goodwin Library is beginning a new program! Just. For. Teens.

If you're a bibliophile
bib·li·o·phile
/ˈbiblēəˌfīl/
noun
1. a person who collects or has a great love of books

OR

a garrulous person (that is, someone who loves to talk)

OR

perhaps you have made a New Year's resolution to read more, get out more, live at your library, talk about imaginary people that you swear are real, make new friends, or eat snacks while discussing the implications of a bird falling in love with a fish... or was that a human falling in love with a vampire? Mundane with a shadowhunter?

AND you're 12-18 years old OR in grades 6th-12th

This program IS for YOU.

If any of the above sounds awesome, bizarre, or cool... come!

Our first meeting is January 24th, 2014.

Our meetings will be the 4th Friday of every month. (How easy? F as in Fourth and Friday)
3:00-4:30pm in the library's new teen space.

As a bonus, you get first dibs to check out any new teen books that come into the library*!
We'll be saving them for you.

Bring a NEW book to share to this first meeting. This can be a brand new book or a new to you author, genre, book, or series that you've been reading.

*You do NOT need a library card to come to the book group, but you WILL need one to take any books home with you. So if you're new to the library, bring a student ID and something with your name and address on it to get a library card.
